Explore Off-Road Trails on Our Pinzgauer Tours of Hawaii!
On this one-of-a-kind 4×4 adventure – scramble up steep ridgelines, negotiate muddy trails, & tackle Hawaiian style moguls in an ex-military Pinzgauer all-terrain vehicle. This “hike on wheels” allows guests to interact with the great outdoors from the comfort of a high-stanced, open-air 4-wheeler while learning about Oahu’s unique natural environment from an expert local guide. Guests will enjoy spectacular panoramic views of verdant mountain peaks, windswept coastlines, and lush water-filled valleys from secluded lookout points. Ramble through fruit orchards and even pick seasonal wild fruit! And if that’s not awesome enough, how about a refreshing swim in a secluded freshwater pool? That’s right, this tour also treks into the ancient valley of Anahulu to visit one of the island’s longest and most iconic rivers. This off-road adventure truly has it all and is hands down the best 4×4 tour on Oahu! So hold on tight, laugh, gaze, & swim, this will be an adventure you won’t want to miss.

Recommendations:
- Dress accordingly; conditions can include rain or sunshine, cool mountain breezes, or high humidity.
- During rain and/or muddy conditions riders can get dirty – please DON’T wear your favorite aloha shirt!
- Be advised that this is a rough ride; please take the proper precautions if you are susceptible to carsickness.
Requirements/Restrictions:
- For safety purposes, children under 6 years old are not allowed on this tour.
- Covered shoes are a must.
- Due to the vehicle’s sudden jerky movements caused by rough roads, we do not recommend this tour for people with back or neck problems and/or women who are pregnant.
- Inquire first before booking if you or anyone in your party has any medical conditions that may affect his/her ability to sit on a bumpy off-road ride for 2 hrs.
- All guests are required to sign a waiver & release form prior to the start of their tour.
- Please note that for safety reasons, the tour route may change depending on weather & road conditions.
- Max Group Size: 8 guests.

Parking: Park at the North Shore Marketplace is located in front of Kono’s (restaurant). It is on the main street with high visibility and a roving security guard from the mall.*
Check-in: Please arrive 30 minutes prior to scheduled tour time.

I didn’t know what to expect with a 4 x 4 tour but I was very pleased to explore some of the jungle trails and how relaxing the experience was. This is one of the best ways that you can see some of the remote parts of the island without having to hike in and expel a lot of energy! Me and my mother loved it.
Amazing tour!!! from the start the ride on the piglet was full of fun, and bumpy, love the trails and the swim at the waterfall was the cherry on top, my kids loved it, and the pictures you can take from above are great. We all loved it.
Great combination of hiking and off-road tour, our tour guide and driver were knowledgeable of all the surrounding and plants, the dip at the waterfall was refreshing and cool,
We took this tour not knowing what we would experience but there are no regrets, it was more than what we had expected for, we even saw wild pigs on the road, it was a true surprise. My son took lots of pictures of the entire coastline of the island from the top of the mountains, we loved it, the guides make it very fun all the trip on the piglet, by the way, it is very bumpy but fun.
Our family had an incredible time. Our tour guide was the best, and we saw the most incredible sights while we had a blast on the piglet ATV tour.
