Our Kualoa Grown Tour takes you on a journey through Hakipuu makai, where the past and present meet across working farms, cultural landscapes, and iconic film locations. Guests will explore lush tropical fruit and flower gardens, learn about modern sustainable practices at Kualoa, and see how the land continues to nourish our local community. A highlight of the tour is Molii Fishpond—a thriving example of ancient Hawaiian aquaculture, estimated to be 800 to 1,000 years old. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, this 125-acre stone-walled fishpond showcases the remarkable ingenuity of early Hawaiians that is still relevant today. Along the way, you’ll visit iconic locations from major movies and TV shows, while gaining insight into the deep cultural history that makes Kualoa so significant.

Tour Reviews
Easy to use
My Husband and I visited Kualoa Ranch on our honeymoon. The package we pre-purchased came with hotel pickup and drop off, thank goodness for that or else it is a 1 hr (at best) drive out there. On arrival our bus load of people had to stay together as a staff member gave us a very brief tour of the check-in areas for different tours. Our first tour was the Garden and Fish Pond Tour. We drove in a no window bus down the road and were taken through an agricultural field of plants and trees, surprisingly very interesting. Next, we headed out to the fish pond where we learned about what fish they had there on a little boat, the view from here was amazing. The water pond and mountains were breathtaking.
We booked the fish pond and Garden tour and our tour guide was named Jimmy. I had a great time with him as my tour guide- I had so much fun and got to sample some of the things that are grown on the land. And I got a history lesson which I love because I love history. There is so much to do there you could spend the whole day there.
We took the Garden and Fish Pond Tour because we couldn’t get on the tour we wanted. As it turned out it was a very informative and enjoyable tour. We had a great tour guide, she lead the English tour. The catamaran cruise on the pond was wonderful. Highly recommended.
