North Shore Beach Bus combines 2 of the most popular tours on Oahu into one amazing day.
We visit the world famous North Shore in the morning, enjoy a fabulous local style lunch and a pineapple ice cream at Dole Pineapple Plantation. Then we travel south for an afternoon of snorkeling at Hanauma Bay State Park.

The North Shore Beach Bus is the only tour company on Oahu that offers the best of the North Shore along with Hanauma Bay State Park in a day. This tour is designed for tourist to leave the crowded fast paced environment of Waikiki and enjoy some of the most scenic relaxed beaches of Oahu. For those individuals looking to add some activities to their tour, we offer swimming, paddle boarding, kayaking and snorkeling.

The day begins by taking your guests directly from Waikiki to Oahu’s world famous North Shore. Destinations such as Banzai Pipeline, Waimea Bay Beach Park and Waimea Falls (Optional) will be included to show the most popular locations on the North Shore. Lunch is located at Turtle Town in Haleiwa and is known to serve some of the best coconut shrimp on the island. The next stop includes the Dole Plantation for a serving of tasty pineapple ice cream.

We then begin our drive south on the H3 Highway a.k.a. Jurassic Highway where your guests will enjoy some of the most beautiful landscapes on the planet. Along the H3 Highway,

they will see where great Hollywood productions such as Jurassic Park and Lost are filmed. (When there is an accident or heavy traffic on H3 Highway, we take an alternate route.)

Once we reach Hanauma Bay your guests will enjoy snorkeling inside of a dormant volcano allowing them to see hundreds of different types of fish and coral. The North Shore Beach Bus will pick your guests up about 7:30am and have them back in Waikiki by 5:00 pm. It is fun, relaxing and affordable which makes it Oahu’s premiere 5 star tour. Have your guests bring their swimsuits, towel, and sunscreen; leave the rest to us! Your guests will spend less time in the vehicle and spend more time having fun.

Tour Stops and Length of Time

Banzai Pipeline Beach – (20-30 mins)

The Billabong Pipe Masters is the quintessential event in professional surfing and Pipeline is the Holy Grail of waves by which all others are measured. The third and final jewel in the Vans Triple Crown of Surfing, the Pipe Masters, is where the world champion is crowned. It is also the filming location for the surfing movie “Blue Crush“

Waimea Bay – (45-60 mins)

This gorgeous bay is famous as the home of the Quiksilver in memory of Eddie Aikau Big Wave Invitational competition where sets can reach 40-50 ft. During our summer season this a great place to swimming and watch some crazy locals jumping off the famous “Jump Rock”.     

Waimea Falls Hiking – Optional – (11⁄2 hours)

This is optional. Instead of swimming at Waimea Bay and Pipeline stop guests will enjoy hiking. The guests choosing Waimea Falls Hiking will miss the Pipeline and Waimea Beach Park. Entrance fee $16 per person is not included.

Lunch at Turtle Town – (30-40 mins) (included with Premium)
Tsue’s Farm is our favorite lunch spot on the north shore. Located on the beautiful Anahulu river in Haleiwa on the Oahu’s North Shore our lunch location boasts great food, beautiful scenery, and Shave Ice. They specialize in local Kahuku shrimp, but have a good variety of food with vegetarian options as well. So grab a local plate lunch, relax, and enjoy yourself right next to the Anahulu river in one of their lounge chairs or picnic table. They also have a large shaded pavilion to sit underneath during the occasional sprinkles.

Stand Up Paddle or Kayak – (45-60 mins) (included with Premium)
After enjoying lunch try stand up paddle boarding or kayaking. With a little help from the instructors you’ll be a natural. Great way to see the Hawaiian Green Sea Turtles and no experience is necessary!

Dole Pineapple Plantation – (30 mins)

Home of the famous dole whip ice cream, pineapple maze, and pineapple express train ride. In the gift shop you can find lots of pineapple memorabilia. You will have enough time to shop for souvenirs, take lots of pictures, and enjoy a Dole Whip.

Hanauma bay – (21⁄2 hours)

Hanauma bay nature preserve is Oahu’s most premier snorkeling spot. swimming just above the coral reefs and spotting amazing sea creatures is a relaxing and enjoyable way to end the day on the island of Oahu. snorkeling at Hanauma bay, with the vast amount of tropical fish and marine life, offers an overall great experience for people of all ages and fitness levels.

It was so cool to have the option to customize what we wanted to do. The waterfall hike here was incredible and pairing it with a snorkeling tour afterwords was a wonderful way that we could cool down after the hiking. I highly recommend booking with these guys if you’re on the North Shore.
