While visiting Hawaii, a surf lesson is a must. Our talented surf teachers will coach you through the best ride of your life! Whether you are a beginner, intermediate or advanced surfer, young or old, nervous or eager—we’ll make sure you get the most effective coaching and our lessons will benefit you. You are guaranteed to be surfing within the two hour lesson.
Waikiki Beach and North Shore are some of the most iconic places to take your first surfing lesson. You will enjoy the beautiful backdrop of Waikiki or Turtle Bay Resort. Your friends and family can watch you from the beach. For those who are not joining us in the water, grab a drink or a bite to eat. It is going to be a great show!
Hans Hedemann Surf School was established in 1995 and has since become the premier surfing school in Hawaii with locations in Waikiki and the North Shore of Oahu. A team of lifeguard and CPR trained instructors and safety guides dedicate to an enriched Hawaiian Surfing experience to provide a great adventure for the beginner, intermediate, and advanced surfer.
VIP Lesson:
The VIP Surf Session is for the intermediate surfer looking for local knowledge on Hawaii breaks. This is the perfect package for someone with some surfing experience, who does not need beginner class, but not quite ready to surf with a Pro surfer. Surfers get the extra attention with their surf instructor to discuss their surf experience and goals on advancing their surf skills. Participants in the VIP surf sessions have the option to upgrade to regular longboards instead of the soft-top beginner surfboards.
