While visiting Hawaii, a surf lesson is a must. Our talented surf teachers will coach you through the best ride of your life! Whether you are a beginner, intermediate or advanced surfer, young or old, nervous or eager—we’ll make sure you get the most effective coaching and our lessons will benefit you. You are guaranteed to be surfing within the two hour lesson.
Waikiki Beach and North Shore are some of the most iconic places to take your first surfing lesson. You will enjoy the beautiful backdrop of Waikiki or Turtle Bay Resort. Your friends and family can watch you from the beach. For those who are not joining us in the water, grab a drink or a bite to eat. It is going to be a great show!
Hans Hedemann Surf School was established in 1995 and has since become the premier surfing school in Hawaii with locations in Waikiki and the North Shore of Oahu. A team of lifeguard and CPR trained instructors and safety guides dedicate to an enriched Hawaiian Surfing experience to provide a great adventure for the beginner, intermediate, and advanced surfer.
Surf with the Pros:
Learn to surf from the legend, Hans Hedemann or surf with former pro surfer Seth Elmer. Hans or Seth will pick the best spot for the day and take you out to the line up to catch some long rides. They have taught some of Hollywood’s best actors and actresses, producers and film-makers.
What to bring:
- Swimsuit, towel and sunscreen
Includes:
- Instruction.
- Surf boards, rash guard shirt and reef shoes.
- Round-trip transportation included from Waikiki Hotels.
Requirements and Restrictions:
- Not recommended for pregnant women.
- Participants must have the physical ability to swim and in good physical condition for paddling.
