- We recommend bringing a backpack, sunscreen, and a camera.
- What to Wear: Comfortable and light clothing is recommended, such as comfortable footwear, a hat and sunglasses, and shorts or long pants. Although Hawaii is home to the endless summer, there are places and times where the temperature can drop substantially. We recommend you pack a light sweater.
Restrictions/Requirements:
- Maximum 12 passengers per tour.
- This tour is not recommended for women who are pregnant or may be pregnant.
- Passengers traveling with a wheelchair or walker are more than welcome to join our tour. Please note, our vans are equipped to handle easy storage of a wheelchair or other medical equipment. But we do not have a wheelchair lift.
- Our tours operate rain or shine, though itineraries may be adjusted in response to severe weather conditions. Access to certain parts of Hawaiʻi Volcanoes National Park, including during events like active lava flows or eruptions, may be restricted or closed by park officials without notice. In such cases, Kailani Tours does not offer partial refunds for any part of the tour affected by these restrictions. With our vast experience navigating these occasional closures, we will make the absolute most of your day with us, no matter the conditions.

- Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled pick-up time and allow a 5-minute window for your driver to arrive.
