Your morning begins with a comfortable pick-up from your hotel or resort. As the coastline and mountains roll by, the landscape transforms-lush greenery giving way to Hilo’s historic charm. After a quick rest stop, the adventure continues to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site where the ground steams, the air smells faintly of minerals, and massive craters tell the story of an island still in the making.

Here, in the realm of Pele, the Hawaiian goddess of fire, you’ll stand where molten earth once flowed, learning how volcanoes shaped the culture, history, and very existence of Hawai‘i. It’s a humbling and exhilarating moment you’ll never forget.

• This tour is not recommended for women who are pregnant or may be pregnant.
• Passengers traveling with a wheelchair or walker are more than welcome to join our tour. Please note, our vans are equipped to handle easy storage of a wheelchair or other medical equipment. But we do not have a wheelchair lift.
• Our tours operate rain or shine, though itineraries may be adjusted in response to severe weather conditions. Access to certain parts of Hawaiʻi Volcanoes National Park, including during events like active lava flows or eruptions, may be restricted or closed by park officials without notice. In such cases, Kailani Tours does not offer partial refunds for any part of the tour affected by these restrictions. With our vast experience navigating these occasional closures, we will make the absolute most of your day with us, no matter the conditions.
