Upon arrival, all of our guests are traditionally welcomed with a Hawaiian Shell Lei. The sounding of the conch shell announces the beginning of the evening’s festivities! Picture taking opportunities await as the Royal Court of Polynesia makes its entrance. As the imu (underground oven) is uncovered, the savory aroma of the Kalua Pua’a (roasted pig) – your main course of the evening – reminds us that dinner is soon to be served.
Our all-you-can-eat buffet features an array of tasty Hawaiian – American selections, which include traditional Island favorites sure to please even the less adventurous. Special food requests available with minimum 24 hours advance notice.
The night is filled with beauty, color, and excitement as our multi-talented kane (men) and wahine (women) take you through a non-stop, action-packed journey throughout the Islands of Tahiti, Samoa, Fiji, New Zealand as well as the romantic hula of Hawaii.

The bus showed up on time. Our escort Donna was awesome. We got to see the Imu ceremony and walk around before dinner and the show. Food was very good and plenty of it. The show was great, especially the fire dancer. Overall we had a great time. Absolutely no complaints.
We enjoyed a terrific night of entertainment but most of all, I wish to acknowledge the care and attention given to us by the staff. We are well in our seventies and rely on walking sticks to get around. With the uneven sandy area surrounding the stage and bar, it meant we had problems getting to and from the bar and the food areas. But no problem! Every time i bought a couple of drinks for my wife and myself, one of the staff would arrive and take them back to our table, saving me trying to juggle two drinks and a walking stick. When the food was served, two of the staff arrived and selected the food for us and bought it back to our table. THANK YOU very much! Those people made our night very enjoyable and something we will remember and talk about back in Australia.
On Tuesday I had the opportunity to go to Germaine’s Luau. This was my first time to their venue and from the start, I felt relaxed. Upon arrival, their parking lot attendant pleasantly greeted us and showed us where to park. There was no parking fee.
The host explained everything to our group before escorting us to our reserved seating. Germaine’s is right on the beach with an excellent view of the sunset. As an adult and foodie, I think Germaine’s actually has the best food and drinks of all the Lu’au’s I’ve been to. I especially liked the teriyaki chicken and coleslaw.
