We combine unparalleled views of the coastline from our stable and well-appointed sailing and power catamarans with the biggest party guests of all — the Humpback Whales! Our onboard naturalist will answer all your Humpback questions. Sip beverages from our complimentary tropical bar featuring local beers on tap, island-style cocktails and a selection of wines and champagne, soft drinks and refreshing tropical juices. We also include a variety of crunchy snacks (chips and nuts). Please note that Humpback sightings on this cruise are not guaranteed…but we know you’ll love this Sunset Celebration – it’s a perfect start to your evening in paradise!

Locations:

  • Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays:

Driving directions From Kona International Airport: Turn left on Highway 19. Stay on the Highway as you go past the entrances to the Hualalai Resort, the Waikoloa Beach Resort, the Mauna Lani Resort, the Hapuna Prince Hotel, and the Mauna Kea Beach Hotel (this takes about 40 minutes). Eventually, you’ll come to a T-intersection with a stop sign. Turn left (towards Kawaihae), on Highway 270. Stay on the road for about 1.5 miles (you’ll go around a curve and down a hill past the entrance to the harbor). As the road “Y-intersects”, you’ll see our Whale Center on the right. We’re at the corner of Hwy 270 and Akoni Pule Hwy (right below the 76 Gas Station). You can park in our small lot, or across the road from the building along the green fence.

  • Tuesdays and Thursdays:

Driving Directions From Kona International Airport: Go left on Highway 19. Drive for about 25 minutes till you reach the traffic light and the entrance to the Waikoloa Beach Resort. Turn left into the resort onto Waikoloa Beach Drive and go past the entrance to the Waikoloa Beach Marriott Resort and Spa. Just past the resort entrance you’ll see a left hand merge lane – merge into this lane and turn left towards the gated community called “Kolea”. Just before the locked gate you’ll see the entrance to the Beach Access Parking Lot. The paved path to the beach begins just ocean-side of the circle turn-around.
