Aloha Blue Charters offers fun, fast ocean adventures on board the Hokua 2 – a custom-built 47 ft Newton monohull designed to offer a smooth and comfortable ride for a wide range of ocean adventures. Based out of Slip 37 in Maalaea Small Boat Harbor, Maui Hawaii, we offer many options for your unforgettable Hawaii ocean adventure.
Our Captain and Crew have over 37 years of combined experience in the waters off Maui. Up to 19 anglers, plus additional Non-fishing riders in comfort. We catch many different Hawaiian Bottom Fish including snappers, Hawaiian groupers, trevally, barracuda, amberjack, and many other types of Hawaiian bottomfish. As an added bonus we troll for tuna, mahi-mahi, and other pelagic species between bottom fishing areas
Fun and adventure await you aboard our 47 ft Newton Monohull specifically built for our unique Hawaiian waters. “Hokua 2” carries up to 36 passengers per trip, allowing extra room for everyone to spread out and relax in comfort.
We use only top-of-the-line fishing equipment. NO fishing license required and beginners are welcome!
KEEP YOUR CATCH & ENJOY A FRESH HAWAIIAN SEAFOOD DINNER, we will process your catch at no additional cost.

Requirements/Restrictions:
- Maximum 19 anglers plus an additional 12 non-fishing riders.
- BYOB. Bring your own favorite cocktail, beer, wine, etc. No glass bottles, please. Alcohol not sold on Bottom Fishing trips. Complimentary water, iced tea, lemonade, POG, and an ice chest for your food and drinks.
