Experience whale watching like no other place in the USA! Humpback whales arrive yearly in the Hawaiian Islands after a 3,000-mile journey to breed, have a calf, and nurse their young. Whale Watching Tour Details
Your 3-hour journey begins aboard our 2014 modern 24-passenger luxury catamaran. It is designed for open oceans conditions that will allow you to sit back, relax and enjoy breathtaking views of the beautiful Island of Hawaii while watching the humpback whales in their natural habitat. Drinks and snacks included. There is an available restroom onboard.
Schedule:
- Availability: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (Closed Monday)(December 20 – April 15)
- Tour Times: 12:30 PM
- Duration: 3 Hours
Includes:
- Snacks (chips, granola bars, rice krispies)
- Beverages (water, juice, sprite /ginger ale)
- Hydrophone Speaker to hear the whales
Recommendations:
- Sunscreen, hat, sunglasses
- Long sleeve jacket or sweatshirt
- Motion sickness medicine (It is most effective when taken in the morning, at least an hour before the tour)
Restrictions/Requirements:
- Minimum age allowed is 2 years old
- Not recommended for participants with back or neck problems, or injuries within the last 3 years
- Not recommended for participants with heart complaints or other serious medical conditions
- Not recommended for pregnant women in an advanced pregnancy
- Subject to favorable weather conditions. If canceled due to poor weather, you will be given the option of an alternative date or a full refund

Parking: When you get to the Honokohau Harbor parking lot, drive to your left towards the boat ramp. Park your car anywhere by the restrooms for free.
Check-in: You will meet your crew member at Honokohau Harbor, by the pavilion next to the public restrooms.

- 12:30 PM – Check-in at Honokohau Harbor
- 1:00 PM – Depart Honokohau Harbor
- Duration: 3 Hours – Cruise the Ocean off the Kona Coast in search of Whales
- 4:00 PM – Return to Harbor
