The Ali’i Luau:
ALOHA! Welcome to our award winning Ali’i Luau. In ancient Hawaii, it was customary to celebrate special occasions with ohana (family) and friends. Today, we continue the tradition of the luau at the Polynesian Cultural Center. Held in a covered outdoor venue against a background of waterfalls and lush gardens, the Ali’i Luau is a royal celebration of our cultural heritage which includes the Royal Court procession, presentation of the imu (pork baked in an underground oven), and delicious traditional food and lively Hawaiian entertainment.

The Show:
Hā: BREATH OF LIFE. A STORY OF PASSION, IGNITED BY FIRE, SONG AND DANCE. The symbolic story of Mana and his beloved Lani, punctuated by Polynesian dance, music and blazing fireknives, is told in “Hā: Breath of Life,” a stunning, new evening show featuring over 100 Polynesian natives, special effects, animation and surround sound. It is a Pacific isle saga of birth and death, love and family, triumph and tragedy.

We went with a 3 yeard old, and a full day thing was going to be too much for us. I was stressed about paying more than what we’re going to get, or going there for the entire day and not being able to enjoy it if our son gets tired too soon. The agent we spoke to recommended this package to us- we don’t get to do the day activities, but we do get the luau, the show and the dinner. We were able to enjoy the same thing!

Me and my husband had very limited time in Oahu, but we have been told to go to the Polynesian center by several people. A full day was not an option since we came here for work and we get out after 2 pm, so we came across this package. We got to see the essentials, I am glad we went for it.

Last year we went to PCC but only did the general entrance. This time we only had 2 days on the island so spending the entire day at the center was not ideal for us but we really wanted to see the shows that we missed out last time by not booking the whole package. So we were offered the late entry, and it combined great with our day on the North Shore.
